Melvin Alonzo participated in the 2016 Cooperative Coffees COMSA micro-lot trials and ended up producing the best overall lot. This is an exemplary Honey-processed coffee and a testament to what is possible for Honduras coffee. At 23 years old, Melvin is paving the way for the next generation of specialty coffee farmers through meticulous farm management, harvest selection, and experimental processing. He credits his Father for the lessons and inspiration to farm with intention, naming his plot Finca Californeo Jr.
