Yachil is comprised of Tzotzil and Tzeltal indigenous peoples supportive of the Zapatista autonomous movement which continues peacefully working towards respect for indigenous rights.  Although we've been partnered with them for several years, due to their limited production output, we alternate between the Maya Vinic and Yachil on our offering list.  This allows us to support each group while always having an ample supply of luscious Chiapas coffee.  The coffee, primarily Caturra, is very balanced and smooth with mild acidity, caramel-like flavors, and a wonderful lasting finish.
