This coffee comes from a small group of producers who are members of Apecap and Acrim Cooperatives. They are located around the town of Palanda, just North of the Peru border. Our visit with them in 2011 taught us about the people and the region, which is ideal for farming quality coffee. High altitude, old stock varietals, technical education, and persistence are a few of the key factors to this coffee’s deliciousness.
